MINISTER CLIFTON BUTLER is a native of Waldorf, MD and attended public schools and graduated from Maurice J.
McDonough High in 1983. During his senior year in high school, he entered in the Cooperative Education Program in which he
started his career in the Federal Government as a Clerk. Today, he is a Program Analyst with the General Services
Administration, Washington DC.
Minister Butler is very proud of his personal faith journey and new way of life. In 1998 he surrendered and entered Baltimore’s
Behavior Health Substance Abuse program where he learned to live his life without the use of drugs and alcohols. 20 years
later, he is clean and sober, dedicated and willingness to help others with their struggles with addiction.
Minister Butler joined the Unity Fellowship Movement in 2000. He has been an active member since joining the church. He
has served as the Church Clerk, on Church Council, choir and the Pastor’s personal assistant. He was ordained as a Deacon in
October 2005 and continued serving as a member of the Board of Trustees, Voices of Life Choir, Men’s Ensemble, Chairman of
Deacon Board and Co-Chair of Men’s Ministry and always available to assist where needed. He is very affectionately known as
“Superman”.
In the fall of 2016 the spirit led Minister Butler to continue his spiritual growth journey and submit his letter of intent to become a Minister in the UFC
Movement and he is currently in training and preparation for the next level of ministry.
